Prior to this role, I was the Executive Director of the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago in India (EPIC India).

As a researcher, I work on topics related to international development, environmental and energy economics. I completed a PhD and MSc at UC Berkeley, an MIA at the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a BCom at McGill UniversityPrior to graduate school, I worked as an investment banker in Toronto and London covering media and telecoms companies in Africa, Europe, and Canada.
